I (Jenna) represented 350 NOLA at the Louisiana DNR Coastal Use Public Hearing to protest the construction of RAM Coal Terminal in Plaquemines Parish. I spoke about the threat of climate change to New Orleans, Louisiana’s wetlands, our children, and our planet. 25 opposed, 2 in support of RAM Coal Terminal.

Enbridge Inc., one of TransContinental’s rivals, is moving forward with a slightly smaller pipeline (660,000 barrels per day to Keystone’s 700,000). This is a disaster for environmentalists trying to combat Keystone. Enbridge’s proposed pipeline will pass through Louisiana. Time to lace up our boots! Not in our back yard! Read about it on Grist.
